We wear this all winter long and even in the spring and fall when it’s chilly and we just “don’t want to be cold”. If it’s on the warmer side, we open up the zippers on the side. If it’s colder, we keep the zippers down. It does a great job of keeping the frost off your buns at any temperature. Was featured in Outside Magazine as a Go-To winter fashion!

I gifted this to myself after stalking this skirt for a few winters. I only wish I hadn’t waited so long to treat myself. Excellent quality. Stunning design. Love the reversibility and the zipper design for that is so cool! One detail not highlighted that I think is so worth mentioning is the reflective tape detailing on one side. Great for night walks and night running with the reflective side out. It’s longer than I was thinking too, don’t let the “Minnie” in the moniker scare you. There’s plenty of warm coverage ❤️❤️❤️.

Why did I wait so long to buy this?! I have been eyeing the Minne-Skirt for years and finally made my purchase at the 2022 Minnesota State Fair. I love that it is reversible, giving me the ability to wear it with any color or pattern. The zippers on either side make it so easy to get on and off. Thank you Rose for the tips on which zipper to use depending on which color is on the outside! I wear my skirt for chilly Minnesota morning walks and l am pleased with the comfort and warmth. The zipper pouch is ideal for my keys, lip balm, and tissues to take along when I walk. I was on the fence between a small and a medium. My waist is small in proportion to my hips so I sized up to the medium. I pull the waist down so that it sits lower and that works well and gives me some additional length too. The skirt is lightweight, comfortable and hygge! It doesn’t spin around on my body when I walk and it doesn’t make noise when I walk either. I look forward to many falls and winters with my Minne-skirt!

This skirt is FANTASTIC! It's going on 3 years and it looks like new. It runs a little small in the hips, so I got a large size (even though I'm usually small or medium) It fits great. In the winter I wear it every day over my pilates tights. Last winter in my pilates classes everyone started asking me where I got the cool skirt and people even tried it on. I told them I got it at the MN State Fair. This summer after mentioning I was at th fair, several asked me....did you see the skirt people. Since it was summer, it took me awhile to figure out what in the heck they were talking about, but they had remembered my heim-made skirt. I think I've started a new fashioned trend in my pilates studio now, as everyone is starting to get one. Love, Love Love this skirt. I would definitely buy other colors, and it would help us know whose is whose, so please consider some new color options...or at least on one of the sides. I always wear the black side out and it would be fun to reverse it but the red and black doesn't work for me.
