I received the long down coat as a gift. It is by far the best coat I have ever owned. Light,warm,comfortable. Love the mitts:no more forgotten mittens=freezing hands here. This is a well instructed coat that is very well designed. Love it. Oh, and did I mention the absolutely necessary two way zipper! With pulls.

I purchased the long down coat with great excitement but slight hesitation because of the higher price. I am a family childcare provider & the children & I are outside daily all winter, in all temperatures daily. I wondered if this beautiful jacket was going to hold up to me using it all winter. I can honestly say I am BLOWN AWAY by how completely amazing this coat has been all winter. It is perfectly warm- but never too warm (even when I was sweating from getting 7 young children into their own winter gear!) I LOVE the longer length & the amazing built in mittens! The mittens made the perfect extra layer needed when out snowshoeing in subzero temps.
When not wearing the mittens it make the arm length longer than most coats, The extra mitten fabric always keeps my long arms/wrists warm. I was delighted that this Heim-made coat is sold in the larger size, because of my busy lifestyle, I need the roomier fit. I also LOVE all the amazing pockets. I guess you could say I LOVE EVERYTHING about this coat!!!
I am really happy that this Minnesota winter of 2022/23 is lasting forever because that means I can keep wearing my FAVORITE coat!
